I am so excited! My first official book signing will be taking place at the Margaret Carder Public Library in Mangum, Oklahoma on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 6:30 pm. In addition to signing books, I will be discussing Finding Fulfillment Through Adversity and the impact that teachers and spiritual and professional mentors had on my healing and success. Mangum is the place where “The Turnaround” in Part II began to take place. It’s where Tommy and I lived in our early years, where Shannon was born and where my nursing career began. Even though there are some difficult memories there, I now realize that’s the place where my strongest roots were established. During the writing of my book I reconnected with some old classmates who have welcomed me back with open arms.
